A Workout For A Strong Lean Core

Having a strong, lean core seems to be a very popular goal for many people. However, having 6 pack abs doesn't always translate to a strong, well functioning core that can protect your back and support your body.

Here is a workout to help you achieve the best of both worlds.

 

 

Advanced


A1- KB Turkish Get Up- 3 sets, 6 reps each arm, rest 60 seconds per set

Repeat 3 times then move onto B1-B3

B1- Tall Plank Walk Outs- 4 sets- 10 reps
B2- BB Landmines- 4 sets, 10 reps a side
B3- DB Renegade Rows- 4 sets, 10 reps a side

Rest 90 seconds and repeat 4 times

 

 

Beginner


A1- Naked Turkish Get up- 3 sets, 4 reps each arm, rest 60 seconds per set

B1- Tall Plank- 3 sets- 30 seconds
B2- Tall Kneeling Palov Press- 3 sets, 6 reps each side, 5 seconds hold per rep
B3- Bird Dogs- 3 sets, 10 reps each side

Rest 60 seconds and repeat 3 times
